About Michelle Servais

Michelle Servais, PhD, is an Adjunct Research Professor in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. Michelle is also a Researcher, Educator, and Knowledge Exchange Professional on Thames Valley Children’s Centre’s Quality Management Team. Dr. Servais focuses on bringing evidence to quality of care and supporting research in a clinical environment. Dr. Servais works with clinicians and leadership to develop integrated KT research and quality assurance activities that aim to enhance service delivery, develop professional expertise, and improve the quality of life for children and youth with disabilities and their families. Her research interests include: strength-based practices, family-centred care, relationship-centred practices, solution-focused coaching, interprofessional collaboration and learning, clinical listening and communication skills, professional development and educational interventions, KT, and the development of meaningful outcome measures in pediatric rehabilitation. Michelle is currently the Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Child Health Symposium (https://www.uwo.ca/fhs/education/child_health.html).
