About Maira Bundza

My main responsibility at University Libraries is to manage ScholarWorks, our scholarly institutional repository. This is meant to showcase and preserve the research and creative activities of faculty, students and staff. We have facilitated the inclusion of new and existing journals, conferences and other events, as well as faculty publications, dissertations, theses, projects, etc.
My other focus at the library is to facilitate the awareness and use of Open Education Resources (OER) at the university.
I am interested in open access, institutional repositories, open educational resources, open education, international education, providing the best access to our resources through our website.
My research interest is in Baltic resources - providing researchers information about libraries, archives and other collections, as well as print and online catalogs, indexes and other reference sources to materials in and about the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
