About Charles B. Shrader

Dr. Shrader holds the rank of Morrill Professor in the Department of Management at Iowa State University.  His research focuses on relationships of strategic management variables, such as board of director diversity, with organization performance measures.  His research appears in Journal of Management, Human Relations, Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Ethics, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, Case Research Journal, and Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education.  He has received numerous teaching and case-writing awards including - the Iowa State University Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching in 1998, the 2002 Philip G. Hubbard Education in Iowa Outstanding Educator Award, the Case Research Journal Classic Case Distinction in 2003, the 2004 Best Article Award in the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, the 2007 Tulane University Executive MBA Teaching Award, and the 2015 ISU MBA Executive Advisory Council Teaching Excellence Award.
