I call my research group and efforts "Extreme Technology Analytics" because it draws from a rich set of perspectives and tools to address realworld problems in novels ways. Extreme refers to the extreme point methods approach of data envelopment analysis that is used in much of work. Technology highlights that we do technology management and examine how technology changes. Analytics describes the quantitative datamining work that we do.
