About Ciara Leydon

Ciara Leydon is a Professor of Communication Disorders in Sacred Heart University's College of Health Professions. She is currently Chair of the Department of Communications Disorders & Program Director for the graudate program in Speech Language Pathology. Leydon's Ph.D. in Speech Language Pathology is from Northwestern University. She also holds a M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from George Washington University and a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Before joining the SHU faculty Leydon was Assistant Professor of Speech Communication Sciences & Disorders at Brooklyn College, as well as Associate Scientist in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
