About John T. Tanacredi

One of the highest honors a biological scientist can receive from his peers is to have a newly found species named after you. After the third research expedition to Easter Island and publication of my book on the 10 years of research results from our Explorers Club/National Park Service species inventory, a new species of crustacean was named after me, Cryptopontius tanacredii - read about it in "A New Species of Cryptopontius (Crustacea: Copepoda: Siphonostomatoida) from Easter Island" which can be found in my About section under Links.
