About Deborah Poling

I am the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). I have served as a faculty member for many years. I have had a variety of experiences throughout my career including being the Nurse Practitioner Director of two Elementary School Based Health Clinics, a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner, a Medical-Surgical Nurse and a Community Health Specialist.
I obtained my RN at Mount Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus, OH. My BS at IPFW, MSN at IUPUI, where I became a Nurse Practitioner and my PhD at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.
My research interests include Interprofessional Education and Practice, and Care Coordination.
