About Christopher Joyce

Chris joined UNDA in 2014 from ECU, where he completed his PhD in Sports Science - Biomechanics. Chris has published his PhD research in golf biomechanics covering topics such as, performance enhancement, injury prevention, and equipment optimisation. Chris also actively publishes and presents at conferences in other areas such as team sports. To date, Chris has (and is currently) supervising more than 10 HDR students.

Chris has worked in both the areas of performance enhancement and injury prevention at state level; Australian football, Rugby Union, Basketball, and currently practices as an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist in the area of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, specifically for golf. Chris is also an accredited education provider for the Australian PGA.
