Allyson Haynes Stuart joined the faculty of the Charleston School of Law in 2004 after serving at Sony Corporation of America as a Director of the Legal Department. Professor Stuart was an associate in the New York law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton from 1997 to 2002, where she practiced business litigation and arbitration. She was a law clerk to the Honorable David C. Norton, federal district judge for the District of South Carolina.
Professor Haynes received her B.A. from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
