About Thomas D. Glanville

Dr. Glanville’s classroom teaching has included graduate and undergraduate courses on water quality, environmental monitoring, agricultural waste management, and senior technology capstone projects. His Extension public education programs focus on providing useful information on water quality, environmental issues, industrial and agricultural waste management, and onfarm biosecurity that meets the needs of the citizens of Iowa and answering inquiries received via email from around the world. His programs and presentations have been developed in cooperation with agencies such as the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Iowa Department of Transportation, U.S. EPA, USDA, U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Korean Rural Development Administration, Korean National Institute of Animal Science, and the USDA Extension Disaster Education Network.
