About Susan Ripple
Dr. Ripple holds degrees in English Literature, Counseling & Personnel Services, and Educational Leadership. She earned her Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership in 2009 from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she studied factors that promote academic engagement in African American males. Aside from her formal education, Dr. Ripple is a veteran public school educator, counselor educator, animal-assisted therapist, consultant, and social justice advocate. She has practical experience and expertise in: curriculum design, comprehensive school counseling, crisis prevention & intervention, animal-assisted therapy, peer leader development training, and the use of data to address issues of equity and access for marginalized students.
