About Sarah Pinnock

Sarah K. Pinnock is Professor of contemporary religious thought. She received a B.Sc. in biology from the University of Toronto, a B.A. and M.A. in Religious Studies from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and an M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Yale University in philosophy of religion. In 1997-98 she held a DAAD (German Academic Exchange) doctoral fellowship in Hamburg at the Faculty of Protestant Theology. She joined the Trinity faculty in fall 2000. In 2006-07, she won a Fulbright award to hold a visiting professorship at the Faculty of Theology of Latvia University in Riga. She was appointed Religion Department Chair in 2012.
