About Ryan Atkins

Ryan Atkins is an Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain Management in the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. He teaches courses in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. His research focuses on Supply Chain Management and Ethics. In his previous position at the University of Georgia, he taught Principles of Management, Operations Management, and Quality Management. Ryan earned a B.S. in Business Logistics and International Business and a Masters in Manufacturing Management from Penn State University, and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Queen's University Belfast.

Ryan's industry experience covers a broad range of Supply Chain Management topics including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and international logistics in the chemical and steel manufacturing industries. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Ryan has led process improvement projects and has developed and led Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training workshops.
