About Ruth C. Borghaei

Dr. Ruth Borghaei is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. She is Director of the Molecular Basis of Medicine course in the Masters in Biomedical Sciences program and also teaches molecular biology and genetics to those students and to first-year DO students. Dr. Borghaei's research interest is in the homeostatic regulation of gene expression, particularly in response to inflammation.

Dr. Borghaei has also served as reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals and grant-making panels for the NIH and other organizations.
