About Qiuming Zhu

Dr. Qiuming Zhu has taught in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since 1990 and has been the Department Chair since 2007. Prior to coming to UNO, Dr. Zhu was an Assistant Professor at Oakland University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rutgers University.

Dr. Zhu holds his B.E. in Computer Engineering from Nanjing Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His research interests include Pattern Recognition, Digital Image Processing and Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, and Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery.
