About Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides intensive care to neonates who are extremely premature, sick, or require surgery. There are 3 affiliated clinics: The Developmental Follow-Up Clinic, the Post Discharge Infant Nutrition Clinic, and the Fetal Development Clinic.


Clinics:
The Developmental Follow-Up Clinic is designed to follow-up up with infants born less than 1250g or at high risk, and those who have been cared for in the NICU. Its staff have strong developmental backgrounds.
The Post Discharge Infant Nutrition Clinic provides nutritional and breastfeeding support to post-NICU discharge infants and their mothers.
The Fetal Development Clinic provides a regional consultation service for pregnancies identified with abnormalities on ultrasound scans.
