About Nancy Cornick

Pre-harvest food safety, bacterial colonization mechanisms, zoonotic transmission of bacterial pathogens, pathogenesis of enteric E. coli diseases and the microbial ecology of gastrointestinal systems.  Currently projects include defining colonization mechanisms used by E. coli O157:H7 in ruminants and understanding the pathogenesis of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli infections.
