About Matthew R. Sharp

I am an Associate Professor of Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. My research interests revolve around professional/technical communication, organizational identity, structured authoring, visual rhetoric, as well as activity and genre theory. I teach technical and business communication as well as first-year composition.
My professional experience includes writing, editing, and designing paper-based and web documents, as well as program administration in marketing, public relations, development, and enrollment management positions.
