Lindsey Wylie, J.D., Ph.D., is a research coordinator at JJI. In general, her research interests include understanding how the legal system impacts vulnerable populations (juveniles, older adults, people with mental illness, and people with obesity), and the relationship between law and policy and biases towards these groups. Her current projects include examining evidence-based juvenile justice programs in Nebraska. Lindsey has previously worked on projects examining weapons reporting by middle-school students, examining problem-solving courts such as mental health courts, and how anti-obesity policies affect health behavior. She enjoys teaching in the areas of social psychology, law and psychology, and aging issues within the law.
