About K. Krishnamurthy

A member of the Missouri S&T faculty since 1986, Dr. Krishnamurthy is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Starting as an assistant professor, he has risen through the ranks and has held various positions of increasing responsibilities and served in a number of different administrative capacities, including: i) Associate Chair for Graduate Affairs in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering for three years; ii) Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Affairs in the School of Engineering for three years; and iii) Vice Provost for Research for nine years. His research interests include system dynamics, control, robotics, and neurotechnologies.
