My research focuses on providing access to and supporting mathematical discourse and integrating high-leverage practices into the teaching and learning of mathematics in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms; teacher preparation programs; and professional development programs for inservice teachers. I currently teach graduate and undergraduate mathematics education and STEM education courses and coordinate the Rowan University Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship Program.
