Jeffrey Schiman is an Associate Professor of Economics at Georgia Southern University. He is also a research affiliate at the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research. His research interests include the economics of education, labor economics, and public economics, and he has published on topics including principal and teacher quality, the educator labor market, and the return to classroom instruction time.
