About Heather Hughes

Heather Hughes teaches in the areas of commercial law and property. Her research focuses on the Uniform Commercial Code, property, private law theory, and financial transactions. Before joining the faculty at WCL, Professor Hughes was an assistant professor at Florida International University College of Law in Miami. She practiced in the business department at Morrison & Foerster, LLP in San Francisco, and the commercial transactions group at a small, private firm in Denver.
