Geoff Read did his PhD at York University in 2007 and has worked at Huron since 2009. He began his appointment as the interim Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in July 2018. He has published a book on gender and politics in interwar France as well as a co-edited collection on Indigenous History in Canada. Dr. Read is a proud alumnus of Huron University College, graduating with an Honours BA in French and History in 1998.
