About Gail Gasparich

Gail Gasparich comes to Salem from Towson University in Maryland, where she was associate dean of the Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics as well as acting assistant provost and a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences. Gasparich, who has a bachelor’s degree from The College of William & Mary and a doctorate in microbiology from Pennsylvania State University, has gained recognition for her research work, which most recently has focused on identifying different strains of bacteria.
