Dr. Chantel Cacciotti is a pediatric oncology and hematology specialist at the Children's Hospital (LHSC) whose research work mainly concerns brain tumors and cancer survivorship, through the design and implementation of clinical trials.

Dr. Cacciotti is also involved in research that focuses on the long-term pediatric survivor population and complication of cancer therapy. She is actively involved in research collaborations with the Canadian Brain Tumor Consortium. In 2021 she became the director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology AfterCare clinic at the Children's Hospital (LHSC).

Dr. Cacciotti obtained her obtained her Honours Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She obtained her medical degree from Ross University. She then went on to complete her postgraduate training in Pediatrics in New York. Following residency, she returned to Canada for a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at McMaster University followed by a sub-specialty fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Hospital/ Harvard University. She has obtained her FRCPC and FAAP certification in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She joined the faculty in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Children’s Hospital as an Assistant professor in 2020. Dr. Cacciotti’s clinical and research interests are in brain tumors and cancer survivorship. Her research areas of interest include involvement in the development and execution of pediatric clinical trials, especially those for pediatric brain tumor patients. She is also involved in research that focuses on the long-term pediatric survivor population and complication of cancer therapy. She is actively involved in research collaborations with the Canadian Brain Tumor Consortium.
