Carrie Furrer, Research Assistant Professor at Portland State University, has been working on behalf of children and their families for 20 years. Her experience includes program evaluation related to early family drug courts, early childhood prevention and intervention, youth development, family support, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, and child welfare; research on adolescent motivation and health behaviors; quantitative statistical analysis; and child and family counseling.
