About Andrew Elder

I am currently the Interim University Archivist and Curator of Special Collections in the Joseph P. Healey Library at UMass Boston. I am an the co-chair of the Board of Directors for and a volunteer archivist with The History Project, the only organization devoted solely to documenting, preserving, and sharing the history of Boston’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities. I hold an M.S. in Library and Information Science, with a concentration in Archives Management, from Simmons College, and a B.A. in English and Women's Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
