Kevin C. Miller holds a PhD in ethnomusicology and a Masters degree in library and information studies, both from the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include the music-cultures of the Pacific and the South Asian diaspora, and the ways in which these music-cultures are represented in libraries, archives, and museums. His dissertation, “A Community of Sentiment: Indo-Fijian Music and Identity Discourse in Fiji and its Diaspora,” was completed in 2008. He is currently Librarian for Digital Curation and Publication at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
