Prof. Keisler has over 20 years consulting to numerous Fortune 100 companies and
government agencies independently and, prior to joining UMB, as a decision analyst at
Strategic Decisions Group, Inc., Argonne National Laboratory, and General Motors Corp. He
is Past-President of the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society and of the Society for Risk
Analysis - Decision Analysis and Risk Specialty Group. He is an Associate Editor of
Interfaces, an Editor at the EURO Journal on Decision Processes and a Fellow in the
Society of Decision Professionals. His Ph.D. in Decision Sciences is from Harvard
University and his MBA is from the University of Chicago. He is a recipient of the 2013
Publication Award of the Decision Analysis Society for his co-edited book Portfolio
Decision Analysis: Improved Methods for Resource Allocation, published by Springer.
