About Xiaoqing Eleanor Xu

Dr. Xu is a Professor of Finance at the Stillman School of Business. Since joining Seton Hall University in 2002, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Investment Analysis, Security Analysis, and Fixed Income Analysis. Her current research interests are in exchange-traded funds, hedge funds, fixed income markets, cryptocurrency, emerging markets, and risk management. She has published over forty research articles in high-quality finance journals and a book on international investments. She has served as Chair of the Finance Department from 2008 to 2010, and Director of the CFA university affiliation programs at Seton Hall since 2013. Dr. Xu has received many research awards and grants, including four Seton Hall Researcher of the Year Awards, a NJPRO Bright Idea Award, a research grant from the Real Estate Research Institute, a number of Beck Research Awards, a number of University Research Council Awards, and many Stillman Research Achievement Awards.
 
Prior to joining Seton Hall University, Dr. Xu taught at the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. She received her Ph.D. in Finance and a Doctoral Prize from Syracuse University.
