About William Wolfer

In 1990, Bill Wolfer received his BBA in Accounting Finance along with an AS in Computer Science from Andrews University. He continued his studies at Andrews University and received an MS in Software Engineering, 1995. During this time, Bill worked full-time in the Information Technology Department as a Lead Software Engineer.
In 1995 he was invited to join the Andrews University Computer Science faculty
and from 2003 to 2009 served as Chairman for the Newly formed Engineering and Computer Science program.
Bill is a graduate of Cedar Lake Academy, and he and his wife Laurie have two children. They enjoy fishing, boating, skiing, camping, music,
organized sports, the many beaches in southwest Michigan, Chicago, traveling, white water rafting, and simply spending time with friends and family.
Bill's interest in the human aspect of software development, team dynamics and communication over large geographical, cultural and language barriers, and software development methodologies and life cycles, provide a wealth of opportunities for research in software engineering and are areas of computing he has a passion for.
