I'm an associate professor of history and history education at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, where I teach courses in 
history education, modern U.S. history, and food history. I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in 2012. I'm the author of The Georgia Peach: Culture, Agriculture and Environment in the American South and several articles.
