About Wendy A. Wiedenhoft Murphy

Dr. Wiedenhoft joined the department in fall 2003 after completing her doctorate at the University of Maryland. Her specialty areas are sociological theory, environmental sociology, and the sociology of consumption. She is currently the coordinator of the Environmental Studies Concentration and faculty advisor of the student environmental group, Generation Green.
