About Tracey Coventry

Tracey Coventry is the Postgraduate Coordinator and Senior Lecturer for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Notre Dame, Australia.

Tracey has had over 30 years experience in nursing and midwifery specialising in paediatrics and neonates in general and intensive care, and in nurse education in the area of clinical staff development. Tracey has held previous positions of staff educator, undergraduate placement Coordinator and is currently working in public mental health as a policy analyst.

Following her Masters in Nurse Education, Tracey has completed her PhD. Tracey's research is focused on the newly qualified graduate registered nurse employed within a graduate programme. The study articulated the impact of the clinical nurse educators; role educational and leadership role in supporting the graduate nurses' patient outcomes.
