About Timothy P Cross
I am the director of operations and external relations at the Center for Earth Ethics (centerforearthethics.org) at Union Theological Seminary in New York. Previously, I was the director of communications at the Center.
From 2016 to 2020, I was executive director of the National Institute of Social Sciences in New York. Before that, I was advancement communications officer at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University, and director of strategic initiatives at the Center for Technology, Innovation and Community Engagement (CTICE) at the School. Prior to joining Columbia Engineering, I held a series of positions at Columbia College in New York. A graduate of Swarthmore College, I earned my M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in European history from Columbia University.
