About Timothy P Cross
Timothy Cross is an independent scholar, writer, and consultant. He serves as executive director of the National Institute of Social Sciences in New York City.
From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Cross was advancement communications officer at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. Previously, Dr. Cross was director of strategic initiatives at the Center for Technology, Innovation and Community Engagement (CTICE) at the School. Before joining Columbia Engineering, he held a series of positions at Columbia College in the City of New York. A graduate of Swarthmore College, Dr. Cross earned his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in European history from Columbia University.
