About Timothy Schwarz

Dr. Schwarz is currently Assistant Professor and Head of Strings at Rowan University, and Artistic director and founder of Techne Music, which includes a summer chamber music camp and concert series. His 2016-17 season includes a European recital tour with concerts in Vienna, London, Rotterdam, and Thessaloniki, and chamber music collaborations with violinist Andrés Cárdenes, violist Roberto Díaz, and cellist Andrés Díaz. He is scheduled to release his sixth CD under Albany Records in 2018, which will feature works by British composer David Osbon performed by the Anglo-American Duo (Timothy Schwarz and Jane Beament). His violin is a J. B. Vuillaume made in 1830, which he purchased in 2014.
