About Timothy Schwarz

Dr. Schwarz is currently Assistant Professor and Head of Strings at Rowan University, and Artistic Director and founder of Techne Music, which includes a summer chamber music camp and concert series. His 2016-17 season included a European recital tour with concerts in Vienna, London, Rotterdam, and Thessaloniki, and chamber music collaborations with violinist Andrés Cárdenes, violist Roberto Díaz, and cellist Andrés Díaz. Subsequent tours (2017-2019) visited even more world locations and featured many high-caliber collaborations. His violin is a J. B. Vuillaume made in 1830, which he purchased in 2014.
