About Tevni E. Grajales Guerra
Tevni Grajales was born and lived in Panama until he finished high school. After completing his BA in Theology and working as a district pastor in El Salvador and Panama, he was ordained to the Ministry in 1975. Dr. Grajales is married to Ruth Calderon and together, they have two daughters, one son and two grandchildren. During the 70’s he worked in different ministerial functions as Sabbath School Superintendent and Lay Activities Director in the Panama Conference. During the 80’s he worked as Panama Conference Secretary and Central American Union Educational Director, Lay Activities and Sabbath School superintendent and ADRA Director. In the early 90’s, Dr. Grajales was President of the Central American Adventist University and from 1995 to present he works as a full time professor in research methods, having worked at Montemorelos Adventist University in Mexico and now in Andrews University, MI. During his service in Montemorelos University Grajales contributed to the creation of the Educational Research Center and was the editor of “Memorias” and cofounder of “Revista Internacional de Estudios en Educacion,” research journals.

Grajales is a member of the American Educational Research Association, National Educational Council, and the National Council on Measurement in Education. Currently he is a peer reviewer for the following academic journals: Enfoques, RIEE, and JRCE; articles published in peer review journals included topics like burnout, job satisfaction, learning styles and academic achievement, philosophy on Christian education. Additional areas of interest are psychometric on Multicultural research and Interpersonal Trust research.

He is the author of “Conceptos basicos para la investigacion social” (1997), “Educacion Cristiana: una urgente necesidad” (1997), “Re-pensar la educacion” (UPeU 2003, UM 2004) “Como elaborar una propuesta de Investigacion”(2004) and “Como planear una investigacion empirica” (2008), and all of them published by Montemorelos University Publishing.
