An Examination of DEI Curriculum Content Inclusion and Improvement through the introduction of a formal course review process

Abstract
In light of recent social events, there has been a large focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to education. The OTA Online program at St. Catherine University has developed a checklist method for program and curriculum assessment of course content. The outcome of this process was a formal assessment and evaluation tool to ensure uniform maintenance of content standards, while enhancing the promotion of DEI-related materials into each facet of the student experience.
