About Stephanie Jett

In the Jett Experimental & Comparative Cognition Lab (JECCL), we have two main areas of focus: 1) the impact of trauma special populations like Veterans of the United States Armed Forces and 2) animal enrichment, welfare, behavior, and cognition. Some of our open research projects as of Fall 2022 include: Factors that impact sense of coherence and self-efficacy in survivors of sexually-based trauma, the role of veteran identity in romantic relationships, mental health treatment preference in individuals dealing with PTSD symptomology, and the use of qualitative research designs to help define veteran identity.
