About Shirley Freed
Shirley was born in Canada and has taught at the elementary, secondary, and tertiary level in Canada, Pakistan, and United States. She is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of three wonderful little boys. Currently, she spends most of her time teaching research classes and advising doctoral students.
Current Research or Professional Activities:
Shirley presents at professional meetings and writes mostly in the area of leadership and qualitative research. Her research focuses on collaboration, leadership development, and qualitative research methods. She often co-publishes with her dissertation students and especially enjoys artistic representations of qualitative research.
