About Satish Puri

Satish Puri joined Missouri S&T in Fall 2023 as an Associate Professor of Computer Science. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor at Marquette University, Wisconsin. His area of research is Parallel and Distributed Computing, Spatial Big Data, and High Performance Computing. Current research interests are "Analytics on novel cloud computing environments" and "Nearest Neighbor Similarity Search for Shapes". Satish teaches "Parallel Programming and Algorithms" and "Topics in Parallel and Distributed Computing". His research has been supported currently by National Science Foundation (NSF) OAC and NSF CAREER grants.
