About Sarah L. Johnson

Sarah L. Johnson is Head of Collection Management, Electronic Resources Librarian, and Professor at Booth Library, Eastern Illinois University. Research interests include historical fiction, readers' advisory, and library employment. She serves as Book Review Editor for the Historical Novels Review (2000-), is a regular reviewer for Booklist (2005-) and CHOICE (1999-) and was Professional Reading Column Editor for Public Services Quarterly (2004-2012). In 2012, she was selected as the recipient of the American Library Association's Louis Shores Award for book reviewing.
