About San Yeung

Dr. San Yeung joined Missouri S&T in 2019 as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science. He received Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science from S&T.

Dr. Yeung's research interests and emphasis are to innovate and improve intelligent transportation systems with an end-goal of achieving a safety-centric and also efficient transportation environment globally. His current projects include devising a flexible ridesharing scheme that would promote driving efficiency for both manned and autonomous vehicles, and another one looking at utilizing ridesharing into different trip planning/traveling mode for reducing transportation costs among users.
