About Sally A. Struthers, Ph.D.

Sally A. Struthers, Ph.D. - Art Historian, not actress! Art is, for me, a lifelong love! My education includes a B.A. in Art History and Classics from Wright State University, M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from The Ohio State University in the History of Art, a National Endowment for the Humanities Italy Institute and study with the Humanities Institute in Greece. In 2013 I retired from Sinclair Community College, where I served as an art history professor, department chair and dean, and am now pursuing other interests, including still teaching at Sinclair, and also teaching at my alma mater, Wright State University. Web course development is another interest of mine. I serve on the Boards of Trustees of the Dayton Art Institute, Culture Works, and the Town and Country Fine Arts Center. One of my most rewarding experiences was curating a major exhibition for the Dayton Art Institute titled, ”The Roman World: Religions and Everyday Life.”
