Dr. Anderson is a cultural and environmental anthropologist. His current research focuses on coastal conservation, sustainability, and development along the California coast (in Mexico and the US). His doctoral work explored the politics of development and conservation in Cabo Pulmo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
