April 2020: Accepted by peer-reviewed process to present “Somatic Dance Pedagogy across levels and areas of study: an inclusive educational approach” at the “Future(s) of dance education(s): possibilities & challenges” International Conference hosted by the Department of Teacher Education, NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Uniarts Helsinki´s CERADA, Stockholm University of the Arts and Center for dance practice in Trondheim, Norway.
Fall 2019: Invited by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen to develop research on the study of dancers and movers that have had a stroke and the use of somatic education and touch to regain sensation and movement.
October 2019: Presentation “The Art of Storytelling as an innovative pedagogy in Somatic Dance education for children”. Selected by peer-reviewed process for the 2019 NDEO Annual Conference “The Creative Process: Choreography, Choice-Making, and Communication”. Miami, FL.
July 2019: Two Presentations: (1) Somatic Dance Education for Children: A successful program in California where the young ones lead the trajectory of inquiry for our current and future somatic dance field; and (2) Body Mind Dancing Master Class selected by peer-reviewed process and given at International Dance & Somatic Practices Conference at Coventry University, UK.
