About RICHARD P MCINTYRE

I am Professor of Economics at the University of Rhode Island where I also teach in the department of Political Science and in the Graduate Program in Labor Relations and Human Resources. I received the PhD in Economics in 1989 from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and work primarily in the areas of history of thought and heterodox economics, international and domestic labor standards, and recent economic history. From 2006 to 2013 I directed URI's Honors Program. I am also the editor of a book series, New Political Economy, for Routledge Press.
