About Richard M. Mikulski

As a member of the W&M library faculty, I provide research and instructional assistance to the campus community and to the public by teaching information literacy sessions, providing workshops, creating online guides and tutorials, answering reference questions, and through one-on-one research consultations. I take part in the library’s information literacy instruction program, and my areas of specialization are History, Philosophy, and Government Documents. I am involved in collection development, serve as the liaison to the History and Philosophy departments, and as the Government Information specialist I am the coordinator of the Federal Depository (FDLP) collection, which includes both state and federal publications. Through these efforts in instruction, research assistance, and community outreach, I support scholarship, publication, and learning across campus.
